The Hidden Oak Cafe is located in the historic mansion on the grounds of Bayard Cutting Arboretum. We were happy to find out that, indeed, it was open. Crossing a small bridge brings you to Breezy Island, a pretty area with a gazebo, offering a very serene and reflective experience, overlooking the amazing houses along the river. Bayard Cutting Arboretum was donated to the Long Island State Park Region by Mrs. William Bayard Cutting and her daughter, Mrs. Olivia James, in memory of her husband, William Bayard Cutting.
